Smit Bindeman

Smit Bindeman is a registered Psychology Counsellor from Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. His practice focuses on healthier and higher performance as an outcome. He is also the subject head and part-time lecturer in Emotional Clearing Process (ECP) Success and Life Skills at the Central University of Technology (CUT) and a service provider to the Department of Education.
Smit has attended numerous courses and presented many workshops over the years, mainly on addiction and interventions in schools that are struggling with substance use. He has been involved in Bloemcare Psychiatric Hospital group sessions, especially with the teenagers from 2017.
Before establishing his private practice, Smit worked at Auksano: Trauma Therapy Centre, where he was Counsellor/ Manager of the SASSA registered Outpatient division from January 2012 to May 2017.
His private practice gives him more autonomy around his time and ability to help individuals and balance his family life.
Smit participated in the “The World Needs a Father Initiative” social responsibility program.
